Application of Brain-based Learning to Tertiary Education

This workshop looks at how brain-based learning theories can be applied in the university classroom to enhance learning. First participants will examine the neuroscience of learning and some of the tenet of brain-based learning theories then determine how the theory can be applied at the university level.
Participants will also study techniques for making the classroom more engaging, learner-friendly and successful. You will be introduced to exciting, easily-applied techniques that are based on how the human brain assimilates and retains information.
Come and spend some time with us in this interactive workshop and explore ways to making the teaching and learning experience more meaningful.

*Participants will receive a certificate of participation on the completion of the workshop.
