CETL St. Augustine Workshop Registration

Professor Joseph Branday will be the keynote speaker at the Premium Teaching Awards and the 20th Anniversary Celebrations, sponsored by UWI St. Augustine and Guardian Group Limited. The theme of this year’s award ceremony is Innovative Strategies for Teaching Excellence in Lean Times and celebrates the work of exemplary teachers.

Professor Branday is the Director of Medical Education, Faculty of Medical Sciences, The UWI, Mona Campus. He has been instrumental in redesigning how medical education is delivered within the Caribbean, particularly problem-based learning. Drawing from the expertise of those teaching in the field of medical sciences, problem-based learning is now used across The University to enrich our students’ learning experience. His presentation will bring a Caribbean context to the theme and provide insight on how to squeeze more out our limited budgets.
