This workshop builds on the first online session on Preparing for Assessment and explores the issues related to integrating technology in classroom assessment in the context of 21st century teaching and learning. Emphasis is placed on online assessment methods including the use of the assessment toolkit and ‘assessment as learning’.

Link to the virtual workshop will be provided upon registration.

This workshop is intended to initiate deep conversations among colleagues about the use of technology in assessment so as to enhance practice related to lecturers’ approach to student assessment. Lecturers would glean the relationship between the Curriculum Matrix and the Assessment Plan as critical documentation underpinning higher education assessment. Ultimately, it is hoped that the session would help broaden lecturers’ knowledge-based about online assessment and so enhance their approach to this critical aspect of teaching/learning.
