CETL St. Augustine Workshop Registration

This workshop focuses on reimagining assessment practices for student success, emphasizing alternative and authentic assessments as well as the use of, and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping assessment design for the higher education setting. Participants will explore the defining characteristics and justifications of these assessments, while also discovering how AI can enhance them. Real-world examples and hands-on opportunities will be provided. The workshop also introduces the UWI St. Augustine Alternative Assessment Framework and Guide, offering practical resources for educators. Ultimately, attendees will leave with a holistic understanding of modern assessment practices that incorporate AI for improved learning outcomes.
