The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is a powerful approach that bridges teaching, learning, and research. It transforms your classroom into a site of inquiry — where you systematically explore questions about student learning, evaluate evidence, and share findings with the academic community.

This workshop will introduce you to conducting research in your classroom and disseminating your findings publicly, moving your practice beyond "pedagogical solitude" join a community of educators who make teaching a scholarly pursuit.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Define SoTL and articulate its benefits for individual, departmental, and institutional development.
• Differentiate between scholarly teaching and SoTL inquiry.
• Identify and describe the stages of a typical SoTL project
• Develop a preliminary action plan for initiating a SoTL investigation in your teaching context
