In Higher Education (HE), educators are expected to possess expertise not only in their respective disciplines but also in the realm of teaching and learning. The Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education course was designed to address the needs of HE educators who may lack formal teacher training by providing them with foundational knowledge and skills in the field. This online course serves as an introduction to contemporary and best practices in teaching and learning, catering to both face-to-face and online instructional environments. While novice or untrained educators can explore strategies for developing and facilitating effective learning experiences, experienced instructors can utilize the course as an opportunity for refining and enhancing their instructional practice. Participants engage with the course content fully online, allowing them the flexibility to access and interact with the material at their own convenience and pace.
